What's the Difference?Pressure Washing vs Soft Washing.

Pressure Cleaning
Pressure washing uses high-pressure water to blast dirt and stains off hard surfaces like concrete, brick and pavers.
Soft Washing
Soft washing uses low pressure combined with a cleaning solution to kill and lift organic growth like moss, mould and lichen off more delicate surfaces like roof tiles, render and weatherboards.
Pressure Cleaning South East Melbourne and Mornington Peninsula

Full Exterior Pressure Cleaning Across South East Melbourne

If your driveway, deck, paths or house exterior are looking tired and grimy, you're in the right place. We handle everything from full house wash downs to driveway pressure cleaning, roof cleaning, pool surrounds, pavers and more across South East Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula.

Different surfaces need to be treated differently. High pressure on the wrong surface can cause real damage, which is why we use soft washing on things like render, weatherboards and roof tiles, and reserve the high pressure for concrete, brick and aggregate. It's not just about blasting water at something and hoping for the best.

A lot of the build up people deal with, especially moss and lichen, keeps coming back unless it's treated properly. We use the right products at the right dilutions to make sure the clean actually lasts, not just until the next rain.

We work across a big chunk of Melbourne's south east, from Narre Warren and Berwick out through Pakenham, and cover the full Mornington Peninsula from Frankston all the way down to Portsea. If you're not sure whether we come to you, just give us a call.

What Can We Pressure Clean?

Most exterior surfaces around your home are fair game. Here's what we deal with regularly:

  • Concrete driveways and paths
  • Brick and masonry
  • Pavers and exposed aggregate
  • Timber and composite decking

  • Weatherboards and render (soft wash)
  • Pool surrounds
  • Outdoor furniture
  • Facia boards and gutters

If it's outside and it's dirty, chances are we can sort it.

FAQs

What's the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?

Pressure washing uses high-pressure water to remove dirt and stains from hard surfaces like concrete and brick. Soft washing uses lower pressure combined with a cleaning solution, and it's what we use on surfaces that would be damaged by high pressure like render, roof tiles, timber and weatherboards. Using the wrong method on the wrong surface can strip paint, crack tiles or force water into places it shouldn't go. We assess the surface before we touch it.

How often should I pressure clean my property?

For most homes, once a year is a reasonable starting point. That said, properties with a lot of shade, tree coverage or near the coast tend to build up moss and salt grime faster and can benefit from more regular cleans. Driveways and paths take a beating from foot and car traffic and often look noticeably better with an annual clean.

How much does pressure cleaning cost in Melbourne?

It comes down to the area size, the surface type, how accessible everything is, and how much build up is there. A driveway job is priced differently to a full house wash down or a roof clean. Rather than give you a number that might be way off, we come out and quote in person so the price is accurate and there are no surprises.

Is pressure cleaning safe for my render or painted surfaces?

Yes, when it's done right. Render and painted surfaces need soft washing rather than high pressure. If someone turns up with a standard pressure washer and blasts render at full pressure, they can damage the surface or push water into the wall cavity. We know the difference and adjust our method accordingly.

What areas do you cover?

We're based in Narre Warren and cover the surrounding suburbs including Berwick, Beaconsfield, Pakenham and Harkaway. We also service the Mornington Peninsula from Frankston, Mount Eliza and Mornington down through Dromana and Portsea. Give us a call if you're unsure whether you're in our service area and we'll let you know.
